Celebrating Tyler

Today Claigh and I rose early and headed for 9:00 a.m. Sacrament Meeting in the Woodruff 3rd Ward. We can't miss our opportunity to partake of the Sacrament and renew our covenants. The talks following the sacrament on "worship through music" were inspired. What a great lift to start our Sabbath Day!

As soon as Sacrament Meeting was over, Claigh headed for his Key Scouters meeting and I headed for home to pack a lunch for the car. A short time later I returned to pick up Claigh. The day was crisp and clear - the roads dry. Perfect for our 3 hour drive to Centerville, Utah.

At 3:00, my niece Alyson and her husband Paul's youngest was blessed in Paul's parents' home. Tyler is the fourth in this delightful family. His big brother Tommy, and his sisters Emily and Katie were a joy to meet. It was also good to see my sister-in-law Diane again after many years. Seeing my nephew David and my brother Dennis were added treats. Both Alyson and Paul have wonderful supportive families. It was a celestial day to be sure. Following the blessing we had tasty Tuna Croissants, Green Salad and a fruit salad. Yum!

Strains of Celtic Harpstry filled our car for the ride home. We pulled in just in time for Claigh to take the sacrament to a dear sister who is unable to attend meetings. - A perfect ending to a perfect day.

Sadly, our camera was low on power but we did get one shot of this very dear family.
