Monday morning arrived with the buzz of excitement for the activity planned by Todd. The men and older kids packed up the Ford Expedition and the Camry and headed for the sage brush covered country side for shooting practice. 
The beautiful owl was safe but watch out milk jugs! Todd oversaw the kids practice making sure they understood principles of safety as well as correct technique. (I do hope Noah looked before he pulled the trigger.) This boy has oodles of personality. Bryn has the cutest smile don't you think? The kids really enjoyed themselves. Jennie took over Grandpa's "Aussie" hat. Claigh keeps his head covered in the sun to protect him from sunburn due to the increasing lack of hair. Throughout the family reunion, Jacob watched out for Gideon. He became a mentor of sorts. Very neat! You gotta love Jared's "gangsta style" The kids are pictured according to age: Gideon, Spencer, Elijah, Jennie, Bryn, Noah, Jonah, Jacob.
